    • Obituary: Dwaine Lee Bendorf: Dwaine L. Bendorf, 51, a resider of Roswell, New Mexico for the last 20 years passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday morning, September 24, 1992. He was born in Salida, Colo., to Charles and Iris Bendorf. His mother Iris, preceded him in death in 1966. Dwaine spent many of his young school years in Colorado, but his father;s position with the railroad brought him to Abuquerque in 1957 where he attended school and graduated from Sandi High in 1959. Following in his father's footsteps and grandfather's footsteps, he served his apprenticeship with the Santa Fe Railroad, where he met and married Carolyn Sprowls in 1960. To this union were born, Lisa and Curt. Dwaine had served almost ten years with the Santa Fe Railroad when he was left severely handicapped after an automobile accident. Many years of rehabilitation followed, but the strong and determined young man that he was started a very successful Computer Software business in Roswell. Dwaine is survived by his wife and business partner, Diana and son, Matthew Bendorf of Roswell; son Curt Bendorf, and daughter Lisa Bendorf of Albuquerque; father Charles C. Bendorf of Albuquerque; sister, Beverly Lewis of Bend, Oregon, and uncle Jimmy; and aunt Faye Bendorf of Eads Colo. Private memorial services will be held at home in Roswell, Saturday, September 26.
