  Notes	There is some confusion about the name of Catherine Bentz's husband George Hofeline. ALV Jr.'s handdrawn family tree and the 8/4/1982 letter from Adrienne Escousse Clark to ALV Jr. use the name Albert and Albert D. Hofeline. However, the 6/6/2000 letter from Adrienne Escousse Clark to Jeff Vitter refers to a Hofeline family history that records the name of Lucie Hofeline's father as George M. Hofeline. Jeff is going to ask Adrienne for a copy of the family history. In addition, the marriage license of his daughter Marie Hofeline and Alfred N. Vitter lists Marie's mother as Catherine Vaust, the widow of George Hofeline.
