      Topeka Daily Capital Sunday 19 March, 1972:

      Harry Augustus Burch, 79, Topeka, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital.
      He was born July 5, 1892 in Osborne County and lived in Franklin County before he moved to Shawnee County 40 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of the United Brethren Church.
      He was employed in the sheet metal department of the Santa Fe Railway shops before he retired 14 years ago.
      He was married to the former Estella Fritts. She died in 1952.
      Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Jessie Lueth, Topeka, Mrs. Mary Ponte and Mrs. Nina Nicolay, both of Rte. 1, Hoyt, Mrs. Faye Beck, Rte. 2, Burlingame, and Mrs. Frieda Seachord, Topeka; a son, Harry j. Burch, Rte. 8, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Clara Bean, Osborne; a brother, Charlie Burch, Pomona; 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
      Penwell-Gable Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at Pomona.
