      Mrs. Margaret Lucy Lytle, wife of Capt. Sam Lytle of 332 South Presa street, died at the family residence early this morning after a long illness. The funeral will be held Thursday morning from the residence at 3:30 o'clock and a low mass of requiem will e said at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Lytle was 69 years old.
      Coming to Texas in the early days Mrs. Lytle lived on a ranch in Medina county, near Castroville, with her brother, Judge G. H. Noonan. She was married to Captain Lytle 44 years ago and they lived on the Lytle farm on the Medina river until 21 years ago, when they moved to San Antonio, where they have resided since. Mrs. Lytle was a prominent member of St. Mary's Catholic church and was an active worker in the church societies and in charitable enterprises.
      Surviving Mrs. Lytle are her husband and five children, all of whom reside in San Antonio. The children are Nellie, Lucy, Elizabeth, William J. and Nelson. A brother, Will F. Noonan of San Antonio, also survive.
      The pallbearers selected are: Active, N. L. Petrich, L. C. Frisble, Clinton G. Brown, J. H. Davis, E. W. Tynan and R. J. Boyle; honorary: Louise Oge, Hugh B. Rice, Charles J. Lukin, Judge J. R. Shook, Judge T. M. Paschal and Henry Burns. Rev. Father Carrier will officiate at the funeral services.
