      OBITUARY FOR NOBLE "CLYDE" DEWEY
      -------
      Death came August 17, 1983, to Noble Clyde Dewey, 96, a 35-year resident of 10513 NE 187th Street, Battle Ground. He was a farmer, born September 8, 1886, in Maynard, Iowa.
      Dewey enjoyed gardening and animals. He was a member of the Meadow Glade Seventh-Day Adventist Church and served in the Army during World War II.
      Dewey left a widow Anna, at home; sons James A. Dewey of Mapleton, Oregon, Burton C. Dewey and Ivan D. Dewey, both of Sequim; daughter Lyle E. Hixson of Sequim; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
      Services were August 22 with interment at Brush Prairie Cemetery. Layne's Funeral Home, Battle Ground, was in charge of arrangements.
