Was brought up a farmer, and moved to Kansas in 1871, and located on his present farm of 160 acres, in Marysville.
He was married, in Ohio, March 12, 1874, to Miss Isabel, daughter of Abner Maxwell. Mrs. Weaver was born in Ohio.
They have four children- Atla W., Abner M, Clavin D., and Ora F."

Jacob Weaver, Great-grandfather of Martin S. Weaver, the first settler of the Weaver family to come to Kansas, was born in 1758 in Switzerland, Continent of Europe. In 1772, Jacob immigrated to the continent of North America and landed in the United States of America, State of Pennsylvania, County of Somerset.
Sarah Isabell (Bell) (Maxwell) Weaver came on April 1, 1874 after their marriage in Ohio.
Both Martin and Sarah (Bell) were buried in the North Addition, Hillsdale Cemetery, Marysville Township, Miami Co., Hillsdale, Kansas.
All their children were born in Marysville Township, Miami Co., Wagstaff, Kansas SE 13-16-23.
