  Notes	NOTE: Died only a few hours after being taken to hospital. Married less t han one year. Mrs. VELLA WILLIAMS, wife of CHARLES WILLIAMS of West Clarksville, died l ast Saturday night at the Higgins hospital in Olean, a few hours after s he had been taken there from her home for treatment. The deceased was a daughter of EZRA HILL of Clarksville and was married o nly last winter. Her husband and father survive, as do two sisters and a b rother -- Mrs. BENNING SPRAGUE, Mrs. CLARENCE SPRAGUE, and JOHN HILL al l of Olean. Mrs. WILLIAMS was a member of the United Brethren church at Obi and was a y oung woman much beloved by all who knew her. Her funeral on Wednesday a fternoon, conducted by the Rev. BOBISON was very largely attended, and a w ealth of floral offerings testified to the affection in which she was h eld by the community.
