      Graveside services for Mrs. Eda Leoni, will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Upland Heights Cemetery in Yorkville, Ohio.

      Mrs. Leoni went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2019 at Cedar Crest Assisted Living Facility in Lafayette, Louisiana.

      Eda was a woman of faith that understood the true meaning of family. The legacy that she has left with her loved ones is a testimony of her family loyalty. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

      Mrs. Leoni was born in Flushing, Ohio to Carmine and Constance Angeloni on September 25, 1922. She grew up in Rayland, OH and went to Rayland High School. Later she would meet the love of her life, Ottie, and they would be married on July 25, 1941. Together they had two children and reared their family in Yorkville on the farm.

      Eda was an active resident in the tri-state area, spending her free time volunteering at Wheeling Hospital, where she served as president of Wheeling Hospital Auxiliary. When she wasn’t volunteering, she would spend her time with her six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was known for her grace and kindness among her friends and family.

      She is survived by her children, Dr. Ricardo R. Leoni Sr. and his wife, JoEllen of Lafayette, La; her daughter, Marianne Lindstrom and her husband, Tom of Hollywood, CA; her grandchildren, Marianna Artigues, Ricardo R. Leoni II M.D. and his wife, Toni, Ivy Bruland and her husband, Ronnie, Amy Chidiac and husband, Camille, Aida Kalimas and her husband, Chris and Christophe Lindstrom; her great-grandchildren, Sydney and Nicholas Artigues, Jack, Ethan and Greta Leoni, Isla, Vaughn and Bronson Bruland, Jackson, Theo and Sienna Chidiac.

      She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Ottie Leoni; her parents, Mr. Carmen Angeloni and Mrs. Constance Muzzelli Angeloni; her brothers, John and Gig Angeloni.

      A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Leoni family to the staff of Cedar Crest Assisted Living in Lafayette and Elmhurst Assisted Living in Wheeling, West Virginia.
