Well, where to start.
It was not easy to find out the trace of your ancestors because they traveled a lot, not very far but very often.
First of all, the parish of St John the Evangelist does not exist, it was a hospital in Angers, created in the 12th century. Apparently the people of Angers often confused St John the Evangelist and the parish of St John the Baptist. This is why, after checking with a specialist of the region, I FINALLY found the marriage of François Allain and Anne Saulnier in the parish of St John the Baptist ! Phew, I will be able to go back up...
I also looked for the children of this couple in three parishes : St John the Baptist and St Peter in the city of Angers, St Peter in Brain on l'Authion.
François Allain had no less than 15 children with 3 women including two officials !
On the attached document I only mentioned the children he had with Anne Saulnier (tell me if you want the others).
Another surprise awaits you on this file, concerning Jean François...

The surprise is that Jean François (who married to Marie Brisset) is not "François" born on December 27, 1666 but "Jean" born on May 6, 1671. The 2 brothers called "François" died when they were very young !!
